Different regulation of soil structure and resource chemistry under animal- and plant-derived organic fertilizers changed soil bacterial communities
2021, Applied Soil EcologyCitation Excerpt :How different resource-derived organic fertilizers affect soil bacterial communities remains unknown. Soil microorganisms can be regulated by soil solid particles of different shapes and sizes, because these solid particles served as the habitat of soil microbes can lead to discontinuous and intricated distribution patterns of pore spaces filled with moisture or air (Moret-Fernandez and Lopez, 2019; Zheng et al., 2016). Soil aggregates, as the basic units of soil physical fractions, may affect various chemical and biological processes of the soil (Regelink et al., 2015; Wang et al., 2019b).
