For rapid detection of potassium solubilizing property of strain TR01K a modified plate assay by Rajawat. et al.,2016 was followed. Modified Aleksandrov agar medium (Hi-media)was prepared using bromothymol blue as an acid-base indicator and incubated at 37 °C for 72 h. Changes in the pH of the media towards the acidic side due to production of number of acids changes the colour of the media to yellowish, indicating solubilization of potassium. (
