| ABSTRACT |
| Prof. Jonathan M. Adams, of the Soil and Agrifood Institute of Cranfield University, UK, has been appointed an Associate Editor of Pedosphere. Prof. Adams has authored more than 110 academic articles and two books, with his recent work concentrating on soil DNA and what it may reveal about function and community structure in soils, including a recently published article in Pedosphere (Chu et al., 2016). Prof. Adams studied Botany at Oxford University, with a PhD in Quaternary Geology at the University of Aix-Marseille II in France. Following a postdoc at the University of Cambridge, he taught at the University of Adelaide, Rutgers University and Seoul National University, and was a visiting CAS Fellow at the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Nanjing, China, before his recent move to Cranfield. |
